How to develop a positive attitude in 10 easy steps
I recently discovered that I am much happier than most people. As I try to figure out why I decided to make a list, I think the key to why I’m so much happier is because I have a positive attitude towards life.

Listen to good music
Music is medicine for the soul. Who doesn’t love listening to their favorite music? Such a simple activity is so important!
Feed your imagination
Stop watching so much television, reading books is much better to feed your imagination because you will be the one who creates the characters. Try to work your imagination, try to find magic even in everyday life. I’m pretty sure most of you when you look at clouds try to compare them to objects or animals!
Have a goal
While a lot of my friends don’t have a goal, I do and that’s one of the biggest differences. I’m happier than them. Just because I have a goal, I know where I want to be in the next few years while they don’t even know and they don’t have any plans. Therefore, they don’t know what to expect in the next few years, so they are drifting aimlessly. Having a goal and moving towards it is the key to happiness. However, you must realize that achieving the goal is not what should make you happy, it has to be the process. When I write articles, I do it simply because I like it, although sometimes it gets very boring.
Be aware of negativity
For a smart community, it is very easy to tend to negativity, because criticizing in such a community is considered a signaling mechanism to indicate that you are smarter than the person you corrected. And it’s pretty frustrating. In a nutshell, try to stay away from negativity, try to join positive communities and you will find that you will be much happier.
Take the time to be alone
Try to spend 20-30 minutes a day while you’re alone, understanding who you are and what you like.
Being with other people is important to be happy without denying it. But on the other hand, spending time alone with yourself is almost considered taboo. Take the time to understand who you are, you need to enjoy the time when you are alone. As Jean-Paul Sartre said: “If you are alone when you are alone, you are in bad company.” Therefore, getting to know yourself better will help you develop a positive attitude.

Take time to be with your friends and family
A positive attitude also has a lot to do with your friends and family. Not all of us are blessed with positive thinking friends and family, but we can change that and I have done it myself, you see when I became much more positive. Something happened to my family. So always try to make time for your friends and family because they are probably the most important people in your life, try to stay in touch even if you are thousands of miles away from them, a phone call will not help you. it does not hurt
This is the best way to improve your immediate happiness. Try running. You’ll hate yourself doing it, but the satisfaction you get in the end far outweighs the frustration of the first few tries. I can’t say enough good things about exercise. Exercise is also great because it can give you the time you need to be alone!
Try to make someone’s day better
I am truly happy when I encourage someone. Seriously, trying to pay someone a compliment or even a simple smile might do the trick. This will make them much happier and you will also feel better.
Take time to do the things you love
It’s very general because we all have different things we like to do. For example, I like to play soccer, so I try to find time at least once a month to do what I love: just playing soccer brings me only happiness, not bad emotions! Do what you love to do: write, sing, swim, play ball, run, and make time to do it at least once a month. Another key to having a positive attitude is:

There’s a reason we get so addicted to video games: filling up an experience bar and leveling up is extremely satisfying, it’s like unlocking achievements. Wouldn’t it be great if that applied in real life too?
So find a way to measure your progress, set milestones, and when you reach them, you’ll be happy!
Try to find something good in everything
Always try to find the right one, even in the wrong situations. This is important if you want to have a positive attitude. For example, when you fail at something, take it as another chance to start over and do it right!
